Located in the picturesque territory of Patù, “Il Pajarone Vista Mare” is located on the border with the municipality of Castrignano del Capo a few meters from the right bank of the “Volito” canyon. This historic building was built in 1861 by the priest of Castrignano del Capo, then renovated in the early 2000s.
Externally “Il Pajarone Vista Mare” may seem to be composed of several overlapping trulli, but once inside, it reveals itself to be a meticulously designed structure. The generous dimensions (diameter and height) have been precisely calculated to create two separate rooms, one above the other. This architectural feature makes the structure truly unique, which also has a large plot of land of about 7500 square meters with a varied Mediterranean scrub inside.
The trullo has a wooden mezzanine, used as a bedroom accessible via an internal staircase and externally by a ladder adjacent to the building. Furthermore, on the ground floor there is a small functional bathroom.
Over the years, another habitable area has been added, connected externally but partly covered by a pergola, it is an attic room in which today we find a kitchen-living room-dining room and a bathroom.
“Il Pajarone vista mare” is located in an enchanting position, to the West it looks at the sea and to the East it dominates the valley of the gran canalone; in addition to this it is only 500 meters from the beach of Felloniche, 5 minutes from the beautiful Santa Maria di Leuca and about 30 minutes from renowned areas such as Otranto, Santa Cesarea and Castro. Excellent as an investment or for a couple who want to spend their holidays surrounded by greenery and the history of this structure.
